In English, we have started a study of the book,
The Sneetches by Dr. Seuss. This is a story that many children can relate to as it explores the idea of being different and, as a result, being excluded. We have talked about the way that characters treat one another and how our personal experiences can help us understand a particular point of view.
Today the children came up with their own scenarios and performed short plays to show their understanding of the concepts we have discussed. Why not have a chat with your child about what they think the message behind
The Sneetches is and comment on their thoughts??
